I was born and raised in Escanaba here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. Sure, I did my time in Wisconsin and Lower Michigan but when I had the opportunity to come back I jumped at it. I have wonderful twin daughters that I’m raising by myself and I couldn’t think of a better place to have them grown up than right here.

I’ve been doing radio far longer than I care to admit and I still can’t believe I get paid to do this.

I started playing “D.J.” in high school through the Junior Achievement Radio Program at our high school and accidentally found my dream job. As a typical high school kid I was looking to get paid for something that didn’t cut into my social life too much and didn’t involve any actual work so when I stumbled into broadcasting it was the perfect fit. The hours were sometimes kind of weird but at that age…Who Needs Sleep! By my junior year I was working at “Bright Country Radio” WBDN in Escanaba where I learned a lot because you had to do everything. With the help of lots of coffee (the first bad habit that I picked up in the business…certainly not the last) I learned about running an “air shift”, did my own news and sports, recorded commercials and most importantly found out you should never swear when the microphone is still on.

I’m really excited to be working for a first class operation like the Radio Results Network and, if you’re a listener, look forward to being a part of your life for many years to come.
